Waste of my energy

Again and again celebrities and well known personalities are made to answer to mistakes  that you and I make on a daily basis. Granted there are many that deserve more than a slap on the wrist, but a majority of the time they are just mistakes. I myself am a korean living in the states and it is so embarrassing to hear that netizens and anti-fans have led another person to have to hide from the public eye or even comit suicide. They are people just like us, making mistakes and bad decisions. The recent events surrounding Jae Bum Park (2pm member) are rediculous. These netizens need to get a better education before they make alligations that alter peoples lives. All of this just because he said "korea is gay" like 5 years ago does not call for all of this. I'm not proud of it but I use the word "gay" here and there to express my disappointment or dislike but it does not hold the gravity to which some smartalic in korea translate it to be. It's a fleeting figure of speech that we use lightly. It's just frustrating to see the UNEDUCATED ASSUMTIONS that many korean netizens make about what they think they know. So many people make bigger mistakes in the world. If you don't like a certain celebrity just move on, nobody asked you for your attention.

This is a classical case of people with too much time on their hands.
They always say how korea is so amazing and taking a step forward but I would say this is one of koreas GREATEST weaknesses and its just embarassing to call myself a korean. If you have time to dig up old myspace posts and post insults and death treats you definetly have time to look at yourself in the mirror and find out that you are a big LOSER who has nothing better to do.
I'm not saying all koreans are like this but really what do they gain from all this?

Use that energy and educate yourself some more to rid the country of all the problems with the economy and scheming politicians. The rise in sexual harassment and assult cases are more important than what Jay Park said to his friend on that one post all those years ago.
I never thought I would ever post something like this, but I had to vent somewhere.

Don't let them win, go back to Korea and reclaim whats yours.
You owe it to your fans, your family, your team, and all those people who let them win.
God Bless~

Fed up

I had to start my day with another criticism from the outside world.
Why do I have to care what they think?
They don't exactly exude good taste and good judgment. Many of them
are actually very hypocritical and insincere. BLAH!!!! I've already
wasted too much time on them. I would curse, but I'm against it. >:(

Something about this is very intriguing

Revelation...

I started this livejournal knowing full well that nobody would read it and actually i like that nobody reads it cuz now i can't pretty much write whatever i like. It was supposed to be a place where i could just post my thoughts and ideas and things i liked so that i could look back on it later but i forgot to do the journal part....after all it is a liveJOURNAL....so i thought maybe i should actually start journaling.

Today i went out with two friends who are still in town over break. During a conversation i asked one of them how many classes they were taking over the break and they said two. Just now i received a message that she was sorry she lied to me and was actually taking 3 classes but she didnt want anyone to know that she was taking a class over. That struck me as weird at first that she would go out of her way to do that and then I read todays passage Acts 16:27-40. It talks about Paul and Silas and when they are jailed. Even though the walls were brought down they didn't leave. I wasn't sure about the real reasons that they didnt make a break for it  but i was reminded of integrity. It is sad that my friends act of honesty and integrity was such a shock to me. Integrity should be something that comes natural to a Christians everyday life and that includes me as well. Living a life that bares its own witness to the greatness of living a life of Christ and in Christ. Its so awesome because for the theme of this years youth retreat i was given "integrity and image of Christ" as a possibility.

Another thing that was kind of crazy today was that i was just moved, while driving home from meeting with a student , to just pray and so i prayed for the mission teams and my parents future business. I dont know what struggles or triumphs  that they are going through in Japan but i prayed and i repented for taking my part as a sender so lightly.
